The PARKER 369PTCSP-8-4 is a push-to-connect tube plug fitting designed to seal off open tubing ends quickly and without tools. It accepts tubing with a 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch outside diameter and holds a maximum working pressure of 250 psi. The fitting body is constructed from brass with Buna-N seals and a nylon release collar, giving it reliable resistance to common hydraulic and pneumatic media. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pneumatic system installers use this type of plug when capping unused ports or isolating a line segment during service or system reconfiguration.
This fitting is suited for use in low-to-medium pressure pneumatic and fluid systems found in residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, compressed air lines, and plumbing assemblies. Its push-to-connect design allows a technician to cap a line in seconds, making it practical for service calls where speed and leak-free sealing are both priorities. The combination of brass body and Buna-N seals supports compatibility with a broad range of gases and liquids commonly encountered in trade applications.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect plug for tubing with a 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch outside diameter in pneumatic, HVAC, and plumbing system applications rated up to 250 psi.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified pneumatic systems technician. Before installing or removing the fitting, depressurize and isolate the line completely. Confirm the tubing outside diameter matches the fitting spec before inserting — forcing mismatched tubing can damage the internal collet and compromise the seal. To release the tube, depress the collet ring evenly while pulling the tubing straight out.
