The PARKER 369PTCSP-6-8 is a push-to-connect plug-in tube fitting designed to seal or cap pneumatic and fluid tubing lines without tools. It accepts two tube sizes simultaneously at 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch outside diameter, making it a step-down or dual-port plug depending on configuration. The fitting is rated to 250 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F. Construction combines a brass body with Buna-N seals and a nylon release collar, delivering corrosion resistance and reliable push-in retention. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and fluid-system mechanics install this fitting in air, water, and compatible fluid lines where a capped termination is required.
This plug fitting is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic control systems, brake air lines, and instrumentation tubing that conform to D.O.T. FMVSS 571.106, SAE J2494-3, and SAE J844 standards. Typical applications include capping unused ports on manifolds, plugging test ports after pressure verification, and terminating tube runs during staged system builds. Its compact profile fits in tight panel and cabinet installations where threaded plugs are impractical.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect plug for pneumatic tubing, brake air line systems, and instrumentation fluid lines conforming to SAE J844 and SAE J2494-3 specifications.
Installation is performed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, or fluid-systems mechanics. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before inserting or removing the fitting. Ensure tube ends are cut square and deburred to the required outside diameter before pushing fully into the collet until it seats. To release, depress the collar ring evenly and withdraw the tube in one steady motion.
