The PARKER 365HB-8-6N is a barbed tube union elbow fitting designed to connect two flexible tubing lines at a 90-degree angle. Molded from nylon, this white fitting accepts a 1/2-inch barb on one end and a 3/8-inch barb on the other, making it suitable for reducing or transitioning between two different tubing sizes within the same run. It is a push-and-secure style connection that relies on hose clamps or barb retention to maintain a leak-free joint. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid-handling system installers use this type of fitting in low-pressure tubing applications involving water, air, or compatible fluids.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial fluid transfer applications where flexible tubing requires a directional change combined with a size transition. Typical installations include condensate drain lines, pool and spa plumbing, irrigation systems, and general water-service tubing runs. The nylon construction makes it appropriate for use with a range of tubing materials including polyethylene, vinyl, and polyurethane. It is sold individually, with a minimum order quantity of 5 units per transaction.
Designed as an OEM-style barbed fitting for flexible tubing with 1/2-inch and 3/8-inch inside-diameter barb connections in low-pressure fluid or air handling systems.
Installation is performed by plumbers or HVAC technicians working on tubing systems. Shut off fluid flow and relieve any system pressure before removing or installing barbed fittings. Push tubing fully onto each barb until seated past the retention bead, and secure with appropriately sized hose clamps to prevent pull-off. Do not exceed the pressure or temperature ratings of the tubing being used with this fitting.
