The PARKER 329HB-6-6N is a single-barb male elbow fitting designed to connect flexible tubing to a threaded male NPT port in a 90-degree configuration. Molded from nylon, this fitting accepts a 3/8 inch inner diameter tube over its barbed end and threads into a 3/8 inch NPT female port. It is rated for working pressures up to 125 psi and handles temperatures from -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F, making it suitable for a range of fluid-handling and pneumatic applications. Its FDA-compliant, NSF/ANSI 51-certified construction suits potable water and food-equipment service lines. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and equipment service technicians install this fitting in low-to-medium-pressure tubing runs.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial applications where flexible tubing must transition to a threaded port at an angle. Typical scenarios include water supply lines in ice makers, refrigeration equipment, RO filtration systems, beverage dispensing equipment, and HVAC condensate and fluid-transfer lines. The elbow geometry reduces bend stress on the tubing at connection points, making it well suited for tight-space installations where a straight fitting would force an abrupt tube bend. Installation does not require tools beyond standard hand-tightening of the NPT thread.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service fitting for flexible tubing assemblies using 3/8 inch ID tubing and 3/8 inch NPT threaded ports in fluid-handling, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
A licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician should install this fitting per applicable IPC and local plumbing codes. Shut off and depressurize the fluid system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Apply thread sealant tape or compound to the NPT male threads before engagement to ensure a leak-free connection. Do not over-tighten the NPT threads; nylon fittings are hand-tight-plus and can crack under excessive torque from power tools.
