The PARKER 329HB-6-2N is a single-barb male elbow fitting designed for low-pressure fluid transfer applications in plumbing, refrigeration, and food-service equipment systems. Molded from nylon, the fitting connects 3/8-inch inner diameter flexible tubing to a 1/8-inch NPT male thread at a 90-degree elbow angle. It is FDA compliant and certified to NSF/ANSI 51, making it suitable for use in food-equipment and potable-water-adjacent systems. The fitting weighs 0.01 pounds and carries a maximum working pressure of 125 psi with a working temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial applications where flexible tubing must transition to a threaded port at a right angle. Typical installations include ice makers, water filtration systems, beverage dispensing equipment, and HVAC condensate lines. The NPT male thread seals against a female NPT port, while the single barb retains the tubing under normal working pressure. It is well suited for use with soft vinyl or polyethylene tubing rated for food-contact service.
Designed for use with flexible tubing having a 3/8-inch inside diameter and an outside diameter of approximately 0.43 inches, connecting to any standard 1/8-inch NPT female-threaded port in food, beverage, plumbing, or HVAC condensate applications.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician. Shut off the fluid supply and relieve system pressure before removing or installing any fitting. Apply PTFE tape or an NSF-approved thread sealant to the NPT male threads before tightening into the female port; do not overtighten nylon fittings, as excess torque can crack the body. Ensure the tubing is fully seated past the barb before pressurizing the system, and verify there are no leaks before returning the system to service.
