The PARKER 329HB-4-6N is a barbed tube male elbow fitting designed to connect flexible tubing to a threaded male NPT port at a 90-degree angle. Built from nylon, this fitting accepts a 1/4 inch barb on one end and threads into a 3/8 inch NPT female port on the other. The white nylon construction resists corrosion and suits low-pressure fluid and air transfer applications. It is a lightweight, single-piece fitting commonly installed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial service professionals wherever a compact directional change is needed in a tubing run.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications including HVAC condensate drainage lines, water treatment systems, pneumatic control tubing, and general-purpose fluid handling. The 90-degree elbow configuration is useful in tight spaces where a straight fitting would require an awkward bend in the tubing. The 3/8 inch NPT male thread provides a secure connection into standard female-threaded ports found on equipment housings, manifolds, and inline devices.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting compatible with standard 1/4 inch ID flexible tubing and 3/8 inch female NPT threaded ports in low-pressure fluid and pneumatic systems.
A licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician should shut off fluid or air supply pressure before servicing any fitting. Apply thread sealant tape or compound to the NPT male threads in accordance with IPC and local plumbing code requirements before threading into the female port. Push flexible tubing fully onto the barb and secure with an appropriate clamp if the application requires a positive retention method. Do not exceed the pressure and temperature ratings of the nylon material for the intended service fluid.
