The PARKER 329HB-4-2N is a single-barb male elbow fitting designed to connect flexible tubing to a threaded port at a 90-degree angle. Molded from white nylon, this fitting accepts 1/4 inch inside diameter tubing with a 0.31 inch outside diameter and threads into a 1/8 inch NPT male port. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 125 psi and a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of fluid-handling and low-pressure pneumatic applications. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and equipment service technicians install this fitting where a direction change from tube to threaded port is required in tight spaces.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial applications including potable water systems, food and beverage equipment, and HVAC condensate or fluid-transfer lines. Its FDA-compliant, NSF/ANSI 51-listed nylon construction makes it appropriate for use in contact with food equipment surfaces and drinking water systems. The elbow configuration is well-suited to panel or manifold installations where straight fittings would not clear surrounding components.
Designed for use with flexible tubing having a 1/4 inch inside diameter and a 0.31 inch outside diameter, threaded into any standard 1/8 inch NPT female port. Suitable for potable water, food equipment, and fluid-transfer applications requiring FDA-compliant or NSF/ANSI 51-listed fittings.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified technicians depending on the application and local code requirements. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT male threads before installation and tighten to snug-plus-hand-tight; do not overtighten, as nylon threads can crack under excessive torque. Shut off fluid or air supply and relieve system pressure completely before removing or installing any fitting. Verify tubing outside diameter and material compatibility before assembly to ensure a leak-free barb connection.
