The PARKER 329HB-3-4N is a barbed tube male elbow fitting designed to connect flexible tubing to a male NPT threaded port at a 90-degree angle. Constructed from nylon and finished in white, this fitting accepts 3/16 inch barb tubing on one end and threads into a 1/4 inch NPT female port on the other. The barbed end grips the inner wall of compatible flexible tubing to maintain a secure, low-pressure seal. It is a standard component used by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pool service professionals in fluid-handling and pneumatic line assemblies.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications where flexible tubing must transition to a threaded fitting in a confined or angled routing path. Common install scenarios include condensate drain lines, chemical feed systems, pool equipment plumbing, and general-purpose tubing runs. The elbow configuration reduces stress on tubing at directional changes where a straight fitting would cause kinking or excessive bend radius.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for systems using 3/16 inch flexible tubing and 1/4 inch NPT female threaded ports in low-pressure fluid or pneumatic service.
Installation is performed by hand-threading the NPT end into the female port and securing with a wrench, taking care not to overtighten nylon fittings as cross-threading or cracking can occur. Push the barbed end fully into the tubing and secure with an appropriate clamp if required by the application. Shut off fluid or air supply and relieve system pressure before servicing any fitting. Follow applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements for the installation environment.
