The PARKER 325HB-8-4N is a single-barb male tube connector designed for low-pressure fluid and pneumatic tubing systems. Molded from nylon and color-coded white, it accepts 1/2-inch inside diameter tubing and threads into a 1/4-inch NPT female port. The barbed end creates a secure mechanical grip on the tube without requiring additional fittings or clamps in many light-duty applications. Rated to 125 psi maximum working pressure and a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F, this fitting is built for applications where chemical resistance and food-grade compliance are required. FDA compliance and NSF/ANSI 51 certification make it suitable for potable water and food-equipment environments.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial plumbing, food service equipment, water filtration systems, and HVAC condensate or fluid-handling lines where a barbed-to-NPT male connection is needed. Shut off fluid supply and relieve system pressure before removing or installing any fitting. Apply thread sealant tape or compound to the NPT threads per IPC and manufacturer guidelines; do not overtighten nylon fittings, as the material can crack under excessive torque. Ensure tubing is fully seated past the barb before pressurizing the system.
