The PARKER 325HB-8-12N is a single-barb male connector designed to join barbed tubing to a male NPT-threaded port. Molded from white nylon, this fitting accepts 1/2-inch inside diameter tubing with a 0.55-inch outside diameter and connects to a 3/4-inch NPT male thread. It carries an overall length of 1.72 inches and is rated for working pressures up to 125 psi across a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F. It meets FDA compliance and NSF/ANSI 51 standards, making it appropriate for food-equipment and potable-water-adjacent applications. HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration technicians install this fitting where a flexible tube must terminate at a threaded port.
This connector is suited for light commercial and residential systems that use flexible nylon or polyethylene tubing routed to threaded fittings. Common applications include condensate drain lines, water supply connections on food-service equipment, ice machines, and similar low-pressure fluid-handling assemblies. The single-barb design provides a secure mechanical grip on the tubing without requiring a clamp in many installations, though local codes may require additional retention. The white nylon construction resists corrosion and is compatible with a wide range of non-aggressive fluids.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for systems using 1/2-inch ID flexible tubing and 3/4-inch NPT threaded ports in plumbing, HVAC condensate, and food-equipment fluid circuits.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified HVAC technicians. Shut off the fluid supply and relieve system pressure before removing or installing any fitting. Hand-tighten the NPT thread and apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape per local plumbing code before final tightening. Push the tubing fully onto the barb and inspect the joint for leaks before returning the system to service.
