The PARKER 325HB-5-4N is a single-barb male tube connector designed for push-in tube-to-pipe connections in fluid handling systems. It accepts a 5/16 inch tube inside diameter and threads into a 1/4 inch NPT female port. Molded from white nylon, it is rated for working pressures up to 125 psi and a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F. NSF/ANSI 51 and FDA compliance make it suitable for food equipment and potable water applications. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and equipment maintenance professionals install this fitting where a secure, low-cost tube-to-threaded-pipe transition is needed.
This connector is used in residential and light commercial fluid distribution systems, food service equipment, water treatment lines, and HVAC condensate or coolant tubing runs. The single-barb design grips the tube wall on insertion, resisting pull-out under normal system pressures. It is a common choice wherever a flexible tube must terminate at a fixed NPT-threaded port on a valve, manifold, pump, or equipment housing. Nylon construction resists corrosion and most mild chemicals encountered in these service environments.
Designed as an OEM-style barbed tube fitting for flexible tubing with a 5/16 inch inside diameter and 0.37 inch outside diameter, connecting to any standard 1/4 inch NPT female-threaded port.
Installation is performed by plumbers or qualified technicians. Shut off system pressure and drain the line before removing or installing any fitting. Apply thread sealant tape or paste to the NPT male threads before tightening into the female port — do not overtighten nylon fittings as cracking can result. Push the tube fully onto the barb until the tube end seats against the fitting body, and verify a firm grip before returning the system to service.
