The PARKER 325HB-3-4N is a single-barb tube male connector designed for low-pressure fluid transfer lines in plumbing, food service equipment, and light industrial applications. Molded from white nylon, this fitting accepts a 3/16 inch tube inside diameter and connects to a 1/4 inch NPT male thread. It carries an FDA Compliant and NSF/ANSI 51 rating, making it suitable for potable water and food-contact fluid systems. Rated to 125 psi maximum working pressure and a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F, the 325HB-3-4N handles the thermal and pressure demands found in refrigeration equipment, beverage dispensers, and water treatment lines.
This fitting is used in residential and commercial applications wherever a flexible tube must transition to a threaded port. Typical installations include ice machines, beverage dispensers, water filtration systems, and similar food-service or potable-water equipment. The NPT thread engages standard female NPT ports. The single barb grip is suited for soft tubing with a 3/16 inch ID and 0.25 inch OD. A licensed plumber or qualified service technician typically installs this fitting as part of a tubing assembly or during equipment commissioning.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for systems using flexible tubing with a 3/16 inch inside diameter and 1/4 inch NPT female-threaded ports in food service, beverage, or potable-water fluid handling equipment.
Shut off and depressurize the fluid line before removing or installing any barbed fitting. Apply thread sealant tape or compound to the NPT male threads per applicable plumbing codes before engagement. Push tubing fully onto the barb until it seats against the fitting body for a leak-free connection. Verify the tubing material is rated for the expected working pressure and temperature before returning the system to service.
