The PARKER 325HB-12-8PP is a single-barb male connector designed to join barbed tubing to NPT-threaded pipe or equipment ports. Molded from polypropylene, it accepts 3/4 inch inner diameter tubing and threads into a 1/2 inch NPT female port. It is rated to 125 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 212 degrees F, making it suitable for a range of fluid-handling applications. The black polypropylene construction resists corrosion and meets FDA compliance and NSF/ANSI 51 standards for food-equipment and potable-water adjacent service. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pool and water-treatment service professionals install this fitting in low-pressure fluid circuits.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial fluid-handling systems where a barbed tube connection must transition to a threaded pipe port. Typical applications include water treatment equipment, pool and spa plumbing, HVAC condensate and water lines, and food-service equipment where NSF/ANSI 51 compliance is required. The single-barb design works with flexible tubing having a 3/4 inch inside diameter and approximately 0.8 inch outside diameter. At 1.86 inches overall length, it fits in tight plumbing assemblies.
Designed for use with flexible tubing having a 3/4 inch inside diameter and 0.8 inch outside diameter, connecting to 1/2 inch NPT female-threaded ports on fluid-handling equipment.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified service technicians. Shut off fluid supply and relieve system pressure before disassembling any fitting. Apply thread sealant tape or compound to the NPT male threads per the applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines for the service fluid. Push tubing fully onto the barb until it seats against the fitting body; a hose clamp is recommended to secure the tubing under pressure.
