The PARKER 3/4 X 1/2 FF-S is a straight hex plug fitting designed for high-pressure industrial pipe systems. It features a male MNPTF (National Pipe Thread Fuel) connection and is rated to a maximum working pressure of 5,500 psi. The fitting ships as a single unit and is used to seal or terminate a pipe run in fluid power, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. With a 1-1/8 inch hex size and an overall length of 2 inches, it is compact enough for tight installations while providing a secure, leak-resistant seal under demanding pressure conditions. Plumbers, pipefitters, and hydraulic technicians are the typical installers of this component.
This hex plug is suited for industrial and commercial applications where a threaded pipe port needs to be closed off or capped. Typical use cases include hydraulic manifolds, pneumatic distribution panels, fuel delivery systems, and high-pressure fluid transfer lines. The MNPTF thread form provides a tapered thread engagement that creates a pressure-tight seal, making it appropriate for fuel and fluid service. The straight fitting shape allows direct installation into any standard 3/4 inch female NPTF port without adapters.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service fitting for industrial pipe systems using standard MNPTF threaded ports rated for high-pressure fluid or fuel service.
Installation of this fitting should be performed by a licensed pipefitter, plumber, or qualified hydraulic technician in accordance with applicable codes and system specifications. Always depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any threaded fitting. Use an appropriate thread sealant or tape compatible with the system fluid and rated for the working pressure before threading the plug into the port. Avoid over-torquing, as NPTF tapered threads are self-sealing by design and excessive force can damage the port.
