Installation Notes

Shut off and depressurize the system fully before removing or installing compression fittings. Hand-tighten the compression nut onto the fitting body, then use a wrench to advance the nut the additional turns specified by the fitting manufacturer to seat the ferrule properly. Do not over-torque, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal. Installations on pressurized gas or hydraulic lines should be leak-tested before returning the system to service.
