The PARKER 2MBC2N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube bulkhead connector designed to pass tubing through a panel or bulkhead wall while maintaining a secure, leak-resistant seal. It accepts a 1/8-inch outside diameter tube on the compression end and connects to a 1/8-27 NPT male threaded port on the other end. Rated to 10,900 psi maximum working pressure, this fitting is built for demanding fluid and gas systems where pressure integrity and corrosion resistance are critical. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians working with high-pressure process lines, pneumatic systems, or instrumentation tubing will find this fitting suited to the task.
This bulkhead connector is used in applications requiring tubing to pass cleanly through enclosure walls, panel boards, or equipment housings. It is appropriate for both industrial instrumentation and process piping environments. The stainless steel 316 construction supports use in corrosive media, high-temperature service up to 1,200 degrees F, and cryogenic service down to -425 degrees F, making it viable across a broad range of industrial, HVAC, and refrigeration installations where extreme temperature exposure is a factor.
Designed for use with 1/8-inch outside diameter tubing on the compression end and 1/8-27 NPT threaded ports on the male pipe thread end. Suitable for instrumentation, pneumatic, and process piping systems requiring a panel or bulkhead pass-through connection.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician familiar with compression fittings and NPT threaded connections. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the MNPT end in accordance with the applicable piping code; follow ASME B31.3 or the relevant process piping standard for your application. Do not overtighten the compression nut — follow the fitting manufacturer's recommended make-up procedure for compression connections to avoid deforming the ferrule or tube end.
