The PARKER 2FSC4N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube connector designed to join a compression tube end to a female NPT threaded port. Built from 316-grade stainless steel, this fitting handles extreme service conditions, rated for working pressures up to 10,900 psi and a temperature range of -425 degrees F to 1,200 degrees F. The 1/4-18 NPT thread size and compression x FNPT end connections make it a reliable choice for instrumentation, process, and fluid system applications. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians typically install this fitting in high-pressure or corrosive-environment systems.
This connector is suited for use in industrial, commercial, and process piping systems where stainless steel construction is required to resist corrosion or handle cryogenic, high-temperature, or high-pressure service. Typical applications include instrument tubing connections, hydraulic lines, and chemical or gas distribution systems. The compression end provides a secure, leak-resistant seal without welding, and the FNPT port end threads directly into standard NPT female fittings or equipment ports.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube connector for use in instrumentation and process piping systems requiring 1/4-18 NPT female threaded port connections with a compression tube inlet.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter, plumber, or qualified instrumentation technician. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before disconnecting or installing any compression fitting. Ensure the tube end is cut square, deburred, and fully seated before tightening the compression nut. Thread connections should be made in accordance with applicable piping codes, including ASME B31.1 or B31.3 as appropriate for the system service.
