The PARKER 2FSC2N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube connector designed to join compression tubing to a female NPT threaded port. Built for demanding fluid and gas handling applications, this fitting transitions between a compression-style tube connection and a 1/8-27 FNPT threaded end. The 316 stainless steel construction handles a wide service temperature range from -425 degrees F to 1200 degrees F and a maximum working pressure of 10,900 psi. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians install this type of fitting in high-pressure process, instrumentation, and pneumatic lines where leak-free, repeatable connections are required.
This connector is suited for instrumentation tubing runs in industrial, commercial, and process control environments. It is commonly used where a compression tube must terminate at a panel, valve, or instrument body with a standard NPT female port. The 1/8-inch tube outside diameter and 1/8-27 NPT thread size make it a compact choice for tight instrument manifolds, gauge connections, and control panel plumbing. It is appropriate for both gas and liquid service within its rated temperature and pressure limits.
Designed as an OEM-style compression fitting for instrumentation and process tubing systems using 1/8-inch outside diameter tube terminated to 1/8-27 FNPT threaded ports.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter or instrumentation technician following applicable codes such as ASME B31.3 for process piping. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing or installing any compression fitting. Use a backup wrench on the mating port to avoid twisting downstream tubing or components. Do not over-tighten the compression nut, as stainless ferrules require specific pull-up turns from finger-tight per the manufacturer fitting instructions.
