The PARKER 2F-PR4-VT-SS is a one-way inline instrumentation plug valve designed for high-pressure fluid and gas control in industrial and commercial process systems. Built from 316 stainless steel, it handles working pressures up to 3,000 psi WOG (water, oil, gas) while resisting corrosion in demanding service environments. The valve uses female NPT connections on both ends and is fitted with a Viton seal, making it suitable for applications where chemical compatibility and leak integrity are critical. A wedge-style handle provides positive quarter-turn shutoff. Licensed plumbing and instrumentation contractors typically specify this valve for instrument isolation, sample lines, and process tubing manifolds.
This valve is sized for 1/8 inch pipe and is intended for inline installation in instrumentation tubing systems, hydraulic circuits, and process piping where space is limited and pressure ratings are non-negotiable. The FNPT x FNPT end connections allow direct threaded installation into most standard instrumentation fittings and manifold blocks. It is well suited for both new construction and retrofit work in refineries, industrial plants, and mechanical rooms requiring a compact shutoff point.
Designed as an OEM-style instrumentation plug valve for 1/8 inch FNPT threaded process and instrumentation piping systems rated to 3,000 psi WOG.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter, instrumentation technician, or journeyman plumber familiar with high-pressure threaded connections. Depressurize and isolate the system fully before removing or installing any valve. Apply thread sealant appropriate for the service media to FNPT connections, following the thread engagement requirements of ANSI/ASME B1.20.1. Do not exceed the rated 3,000 psi WOG working pressure under any operating condition.
