The PARKER 2ECR2-316 is a stainless steel compression tube union designed for high-pressure fluid and gas line connections in demanding industrial and mechanical systems. Featuring all-compression end connections, this union creates a secure, leak-resistant joint without welding or threading pipe ends. Rated to 10900 psi maximum working pressure and capable of handling temperatures from -425 degrees F to 1200 degrees F, this fitting is built for extreme-duty service. It weighs 0.11 pounds and is sold individually. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial mechanics are the typical installers for this class of compression fitting.
This compression tube union is suited for high-pressure instrumentation lines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic circuits, and process piping where stainless steel corrosion resistance is required. The wide temperature range makes it appropriate for cryogenic applications as well as elevated-temperature process lines. Its compact union configuration allows technicians to join two tube runs inline without special tooling beyond standard compression fitting assembly practices.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube union for use in high-pressure instrumentation, hydraulic, and process piping systems requiring stainless steel fittings with all-compression connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter or plumber familiar with compression fitting assembly procedures. Shut down and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Follow applicable piping codes such as ASME B31.1 or B31.3 for pressure piping systems. Do not overtighten compression nuts, as doing so can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal.
