The PARKER 270NTA-10-8 is a brass compression tube female elbow fitting designed for fluid and pneumatic line connections in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial piping systems. It joins a compression tube on one end to a 1/2 inch female NPTF threaded port on the other, allowing a 90-degree change of direction in a tubing run. Rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure and suitable for temperatures from -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F, this fitting handles a wide range of service conditions. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians are the primary installers. The inside diameter measures 0.398 inches, and the fitting weighs 0.38 pounds.
This elbow is suited for residential and light commercial installations where a compression connection must transition to a female NPT threaded port at a 90-degree angle. Typical applications include water supply lines, refrigerant-compatible tubing runs, and instrument piping where a directional change is needed without soldering or flaring. The NPTF thread standard provides a pressure-tight mechanical seal. This fitting ships individually and is appropriate for service work and new installation alike.
Designed as an OEM-style compression-to-FNPT elbow fitting for use in residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC, and fluid-transfer piping systems where a 1/2 inch NPTF female port and a compression tube connection are required.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable IPC and IFGC guidelines. Shut off and depressurize the line before disassembly or fitting installation. Ensure the compression ferrule is seated squarely on the tubing before tightening the compression nut; do not over-tighten. Apply thread sealant compatible with the system fluid to the NPTF threads before engagement.
