Installation is performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified pneumatic systems technician. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before disconnecting or installing any fitting. Thread the FNPT end into the mating port to the appropriate engagement depth without over-tightening brass threads; use thread sealant appropriate for the service fluid. Insert the tubing into the compression end, tighten the compression nut finger-tight, then advance with a wrench per standard compression fitting practice — do not over-torque.
