The PARKER 269HB-12-12 is a brass barbed hose elbow fitting designed to connect flexible hose to a threaded male NPT port at a 90-degree angle. It accepts 3/4 inch inside diameter hose on the barbed end and threads into a 3/4 inch male NPT connection on the opposite end. The beaded hose barb profile creates a secure mechanical grip on the hose, reducing the chance of blowoff under pressure or vibration. Rated for service between -40 degrees F and 160 degrees F, this fitting is well suited for liquid transfer applications in HVAC, plumbing, and fluid handling systems. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid system assemblers routinely install this type of fitting.
This elbow fitting is used in residential and light commercial applications where a directional change is needed between a flexible hose run and a fixed threaded port. Common install scenarios include condensate drain lines, hydronic system connections, pump inlet and outlet plumbing, and general water or coolant transfer lines. The 90-degree elbow configuration helps route hose around obstructions or along panel edges without kinking the hose.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation barbed elbow fitting for systems using 3/4 inch inside diameter flexible hose with 3/4 inch NPT threaded ports.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Shut off fluid flow and relieve system pressure before installing or replacing any hose fitting. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male NPT threads per IPC and IFGC guidelines before threading into the port. Slide an appropriately rated hose clamp onto the hose before pressing the hose fully over the barb, then position and tighten the clamp just behind the bead for a secure, leak-free seal.
