The PARKER 265NTA-4 is a brass compression tube union designed to join two compression-end tube lines in a single inline connection. It accepts compression fittings on both ends, creating a secure, leak-resistant joint without soldering or flaring. With a maximum working pressure of 150 psi and an operating temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F, this union is suited for hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid transfer lines in demanding service environments. It meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J1131, and SAE J246 standards, making it appropriate for automotive brake and fuel line applications as well as general-purpose tubing assemblies.
This fitting is used in residential, commercial, and mobile equipment applications wherever an inline tube union is required on a compression-type tubing run. Typical installations include vehicle brake lines, fuel systems, and HVAC or refrigeration copper tubing runs where a union connection is needed to splice or repair an existing line. The brass construction resists corrosion in wet or chemically active environments. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and automotive brake system technicians are the primary installers of this fitting type.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube union for small-bore tubing lines meeting SAE J1131 and SAE J246 dimensional standards in automotive, HVAC, and general fluid transfer applications.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed technician or qualified mechanic. Shut off all fluid or gas supply and depressurize the line before disassembly. Ensure tube ends are cut square and deburred before seating into the compression ferrule to achieve a proper seal. Automotive brake line work must conform to applicable D.O.T. and vehicle manufacturer service requirements.
