The PARKER 265AB-6 is a brass compression tube union with compression fittings on both ends, designed to join two lengths of tubing in a straight-line connection. Rated to 400 psi maximum working pressure, it handles temperatures from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of fluid and gas transfer applications. The all-brass construction provides corrosion resistance and leak-tight performance under pressure. This fitting meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106 and SAE J246 standards. It is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fleet maintenance professionals working on brake, fuel, and refrigerant lines.
The PARKER 265AB-6 is used in residential, commercial, and mobile equipment applications where a reliable tube-to-tube union is required. Compression fittings are common in HVAC refrigerant lines, pneumatic systems, hydraulic circuits, and DOT-regulated vehicle brake and fuel systems. The fitting is compatible with tubing sized to a 0.314 inch inside diameter. It is a single-piece, straight union with no additional components required beyond standard compression ferrules and nuts.
Designed for use with tubing having a 0.314 inch inside diameter in systems requiring DOT FMVSS571.106 and SAE J246 compliant compression fittings.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified mechanic familiar with compression fitting assembly. Shut off all system pressure and relieve line pressure before removing or installing any fitting. Do not overtighten compression nuts, as over-compression can deform ferrules and cause leaks. On DOT-regulated vehicle brake or fuel systems, verify compliance with applicable federal and state regulations before returning the system to service.
