The PARKER 252IFHD-6-4 is a brass inverted female branch tee fitting designed for flared tube connections in fluid and refrigeration line assemblies. It accepts a 3/8 inch tube OD on the flare ends and a 1/4-18 NPTF thread on the female port. Rated to 1000 psi maximum working pressure and 250 degrees F maximum working temperature, this fitting is built for demanding hydraulic and pneumatic applications. It meets SAE J51 standards and carries a UL listing. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and hydraulic system technicians install this type of fitting in high-pressure tubing circuits.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and fluid power systems where a branch connection is needed in an inverted flare tube run. The Flare x FNPTF end configuration allows a transition between a flared tube line and a female National Pipe Thread Fuel port, making it useful in mixed-connection assemblies. It is a single-piece brass fitting sold individually and is appropriate wherever SAE J51 inverted flare branch tees are specified.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service fitting for inverted flare tube assemblies requiring a branch tee with a Flare x FNPTF end configuration and a 3/8 inch tube OD.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician, plumber, or hydraulic system technician familiar with flared tube fittings and NPTF thread connections. Always depressurize and isolate the line before disassembly or installation of any fitting. Verify that mating tube ends are properly flared to SAE J51 specification before torquing to avoid seat damage or leaks. Follow applicable codes, including ASHRAE standards for refrigerant systems and relevant mechanical codes for hydraulic and fluid power circuits.
