The PARKER 222P-2-MI14 is a brass ISO port adapter designed to connect 1/8-27 NPTF male threads to M14x1.5 metric ISO ports. It provides a leak-resistant transition between inch-standard pipe threads and metric hydraulic or pneumatic port connections. Rated for up to 1,000 psi working pressure, this adapter is well-suited for hydraulic systems, fluid power circuits, and instrumentation lines where thread-standard conversions are required. Viton sealing material supports compatibility with a range of fluids and operating temperatures. Plumbers, fluid power technicians, and hydraulic system installers work with this fitting type in both industrial and mobile equipment applications.
This adapter is used wherever a 1/8-27 NPTF pipe thread must interface with an M14x1.5 metric ISO port, such as on hydraulic manifolds, valve bodies, pumps, cylinders, and instrumentation fittings. Its compact brass construction makes it appropriate for residential and light commercial fluid systems as well as mobile hydraulic equipment. Technicians installing pressure gauges, sensors, or instrumentation in metric-ported equipment commonly use this fitting to adapt existing inch-standard piping.
Designed for use in hydraulic and pneumatic systems with M14x1.5 metric ISO ports conforming to ISO 6149-3 and SAE 2244-3, where a 1/8-27 NPTF pipe thread connection is required.
Installation is performed by qualified fluid power technicians or plumbers. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Apply appropriate thread sealant compatible with the system fluid on NPTF threads; do not use sealant on the metric ISO port side where a face or O-ring seal is intended. Follow applicable fluid power standards and equipment manufacturer torque guidelines when tightening brass fittings to avoid thread damage.
