The PARKER 222P-2-2 is a brass pipe adapter designed to connect male and female NPT-F threaded fittings in industrial fluid and pneumatic systems. The MNPTF x FNPTF configuration allows a male tapered pipe thread to mate with a female tapered pipe thread, providing a reliable, pressure-rated transition point in a piping run. Rated to 1,000 psi maximum working pressure and suitable for temperatures from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F, this adapter is built for demanding service environments. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians install this fitting in compressed air, hydraulic, fuel, and related fluid systems where a compact inline adapter is required.
This adapter is suited for use in both light industrial and commercial applications involving 1/8 inch pipe connections. It is commonly installed in compressed air distribution lines, hydraulic control circuits, fuel delivery systems, and HVAC equipment where a low-profile threaded adapter is needed to transition or extend a pipe run. The 1/8 inch thread size makes it appropriate for smaller-diameter lines and instrument ports where space is limited and a secure, leak-resistant connection is critical.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service fitting for industrial piping systems using 1/8 inch MNPTF x FNPTF threaded connections rated up to 1,000 psi.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any threaded fittings. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads per the system fluid compatibility requirements. Do not overtighten; use a properly sized wrench and follow applicable IFGC, IPC, or system manufacturer torque guidance for brass fittings in the target service application.
