The PARKER 215PNL-6-20 is a brass long nipple pipe fitting with a 3/8 inch male MNPTF thread on both ends. It provides a straight-through threaded connection for extending pipe runs or joining threaded fittings in fluid and pneumatic systems. Rated to 1,000 psi maximum working pressure and a temperature range of -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F, this fitting suits demanding industrial and mechanical service environments. The 2 inch overall length gives enough reach for close-quarters connections where standard-length nipples fall short. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in compressed air lines, hydraulic systems, and general industrial piping applications.
This long nipple is suited for residential, commercial, and light industrial piping systems where a 3/8 inch threaded male-to-male connection is required. Common install scenarios include connecting valves, gauges, and fittings in compressed air distribution, water service, and fluid transfer lines. The MNPTF thread form seals on the thread flanks and is compatible with standard NPTF female fittings. At 2 inches overall length, it bridges gaps in threaded assemblies that a close or short nipple cannot accommodate.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 3/8 inch MNPTF threaded connections in industrial, pneumatic, and fluid piping systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable codes such as the IPC or IFGC. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any threaded fittings. Apply thread sealant tape or compound as required by the service fluid and local code; MNPTF threads are designed for metal-to-metal sealing but sealant is commonly used in wet service. Do not overtighten brass fittings, as brass is softer than steel and susceptible to thread damage.
