The PARKER 211P-12 is a brass square head pipe plug designed to seal pipe ends and unused port openings in fluid and pneumatic systems. It uses a 3/4 inch male MNPTF (male national pipe taper fuel) thread for a leak-resistant mechanical seal. Rated to 1,000 psi maximum working pressure, this plug handles a wide service temperature range from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. It is a standard hardware item installed by plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance personnel wherever a threaded port requires a solid, pressure-rated closure.
This plug is suited for use in compressed air lines, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, and general-purpose pipe assemblies in both residential and commercial settings. The brass construction resists corrosion and provides reliable seating on steel, brass, and cast iron fittings. The square head drive allows installation and removal with a standard wrench or socket, making it practical for both initial assembly and periodic service work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 3/4 inch MNPTF threaded pipe ports in industrial, HVAC, plumbing, and fluid-power applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified technician in accordance with applicable codes including the IPC and IFGC where relevant. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing or installing any threaded plug. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape compatible with the system media before threading the plug in by hand, then tighten with a wrench. Do not overtighten brass fittings, as the material is susceptible to thread damage under excessive torque.
