The PARKER 209P-12-2 is a threaded pipe bushing designed to reduce a 3/4 inch male MNPTF connection down to a 1/8 inch female FNPTF port. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 1000 psi and handles temperatures from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial fluid and pneumatic systems. Plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians install this bushing when adapting pipe or fitting sizes within pressurized lines. Its tapered thread design on both ends provides a reliable, leak-resistant seal in standard NPT pipe assemblies.
This bushing is used in industrial piping systems where a larger male pipe thread must mate with a smaller female port. Common applications include hydraulic lines, pneumatic circuits, fuel systems, and general fluid transfer systems that require a concentric size reduction at a fitting junction. It meets SAE J530 and SAE J531 standards, confirming suitability for use in fuel and oil system fittings found in industrial and mobile equipment environments.
Designed for use in industrial piping and fluid system assemblies requiring a concentric MNPTF to FNPTF thread reduction from 3/4 inch to 1/8 inch.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers or qualified pipefitters. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any threaded fittings. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads per the system fluid and pressure requirements. Do not overtighten tapered NPT threads, as excess torque can crack fittings or distort sealing surfaces.
