The PARKER 2 PNBZ-SS is a stainless steel compression tube end cap designed to terminate an open tube end in high-pressure fluid or gas systems. It uses a compression-style end connection, eliminating the need for soldering, flaring, or welding during installation. Rated to a maximum working pressure of 10900 psi, this fitting is built for demanding service environments where leak-tight tube termination is critical. It weighs approximately 0.029 pounds. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians are the primary installers of this type of fitting.
This end cap is suited for use in hydraulic, pneumatic, instrumentation, and process piping applications where a permanent or semi-permanent tube termination is required. Stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for corrosive environments, high-purity systems, and installations subject to temperature cycling. It is commonly found in industrial process lines, chemical handling systems, OEM equipment assemblies, and commercial mechanical systems requiring high-pressure tube management.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube end cap compatible with standard compression tube fittings of the corresponding tube size in stainless steel instrument and process piping systems.
Installation of compression fittings is typically performed by licensed pipefitters, plumbers, or instrumentation technicians following applicable IPC and ASME B31 piping code requirements. Isolate and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any compression fitting. Use appropriate tube cutters to ensure a clean, square tube end before seating the fitting, and tighten to fitting manufacturer specifications using proper wrenches. Do not overtighten compression fittings, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal.
