The PARKER 2 FNZ-B is a compression-style tube plug manufactured from brass to ASME-SB75 and ASTM-B75 material standards. It is used to terminate or dead-end a compression tube line, sealing off flow at a tube end without requiring soldering or threading. The plug measures 0.47 inches in overall length and is rated for a maximum working pressure of 3600 psi. It weighs 0.02 pounds. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation fitters install this type of fitting wherever a compression tube run must be capped and pressure integrity must be maintained.
This compression tube plug is suited for use in residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant-adjacent tubing systems, hydraulic instrument lines, and general fluid handling applications where a reliable, leak-free compression seal is required at a tube terminus. The small form factor and brass construction make it appropriate for both tight-space installations and corrosion-sensitive environments. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of one.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube plug for use with standard compression tube fittings in plumbing, HVAC, and instrumentation applications. Cross-reference Swagelok part number B-200-P for equivalent fitting specifications.
A licensed plumber or qualified HVAC or instrumentation technician should install this fitting. Shut off and depressurize the system fully before removing any existing fitting or installing this plug. Use the appropriate compression sleeve and nut for the tube OD being terminated, and tighten to the fitting manufacturer's assembly instructions without over-torquing the compression ferrule. Verify pressure integrity with a system leak test before returning the line to service.
