The PARKER 2 EBU-S is a flareless bite-type tube union elbow fitting designed to create a secure, leak-resistant 90-degree connection between two tube runs without requiring flared tube ends. The bite-type design uses a ferrule that bites into the tube OD on assembly, eliminating the need for pre-flaring and reducing installation time. With a 1/8 inch tube OD and 1/8 inch NPTF threaded port, this fitting is suited for small-bore hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid-transfer lines in industrial and OEM applications. Installation is handled by pipefitters, millwrights, and fluid-power technicians working with compression-style tube fittings.
This fitting is used in applications requiring a compact directional change in tubing runs at 1/8 inch tube OD. Typical install scenarios include instrumentation lines, hydraulic control circuits, pneumatic signal lines, and light fluid-transfer systems where space is limited and flared connections are not practical. The NPTF thread type provides a pressure-tight mechanical seal on assembly without requiring sealant tape on every application, though thread sealant practices should follow site or system specifications.
Designed as an OEM-style flareless bite-type union elbow for use with 1/8 inch OD tubing systems using NPTF-threaded ports in hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid-transfer applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter or fluid-power technician familiar with bite-type compression fittings. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before disassembly or fitting installation. Follow the fitting manufacturer's assembly procedure for ferrule pre-swaging and final torque, as improper make-up can result in leaks or tube damage. Verify thread compatibility and system pressure rating before returning the line to service.
