The PARKER 1JS43-6-6 is a female Seal-Lok swivel fitting designed for use with hydraulic hose assemblies in high-pressure fluid power systems. Machined from steel and configured in a straight shape with a threaded connection, this Series 43 fitting accepts a 3/8 inch (0.375 inch ID) hose and uses the Seal-Lok face seal interface to provide a leak-resistant, bite-free connection. At 2.28 inches overall length, the fitting is compact enough for tight routing environments. Licensed plumbers, hydraulic system technicians, and industrial equipment mechanics install this type of fitting when building or repairing hose assemblies on mobile and stationary hydraulic circuits.
This fitting is rated for use with a wide range of Parker hydraulic hose types and is suited for both industrial and mobile hydraulic applications. The Seal-Lok thread form conforms to ISO 12151-1, making it appropriate for use in systems requiring face-seal fittings over traditional JIC or NPT terminations. Installation is common in construction equipment, agricultural machinery, industrial presses, and other fluid power systems where vibration resistance and leak-free performance are critical. The straight configuration suits inline hose routing without additional adapters.
Designed for use with Parker 187 TC, ST; 302; 304; 387 TC, ST; 422; 424; 426; 436; 471TC; 471ST; 472TC; 482TC; 482ST; 487 TC, ST; 722 TC, ST; 787 TC, ST; 797 TC, ST; and 881 hoses.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician. Depressurize and fully relieve residual hydraulic pressure from the circuit before disconnecting or replacing any hose or fitting. Inspect mating face-seal surfaces for nicks or contamination before assembly, as Seal-Lok connections depend on surface integrity for leak-free performance. Torque fittings per the hose and fitting manufacturer specifications for the applicable thread size and do not use thread sealant tape on face-seal connections.
