The PARKER 1JC43-10-10 is a straight female swivel fitting designed for hydraulic hose assemblies in demanding fluid power applications. Built from steel with a Seal-Lok shaft type, it provides a secure, leak-resistant threaded connection at the hose end. The fitting accepts a 0.625 inch (5/8 inch) inside diameter hose with a 5/8 inch thread size and measures 2.49 inches in overall length. It conforms to ISO 12151-1-SWSA, making it suitable for systems where standardized face seal connections are required. Licensed hydraulic technicians and fluid power specialists install this fitting during hose assembly fabrication or field replacement work.
This fitting is used in industrial and mobile hydraulic systems where a swivel connection at the hose-to-port junction is needed to reduce assembly stress and allow for proper hose routing. The straight geometry suits installations where the hose runs in line with the port. It is rated for use with a wide range of Parker hose series, making it a versatile choice for maintenance shops and OEM assembly environments alike. Typical applications include construction equipment, industrial machinery, and agricultural hydraulic circuits.
Designed for use with Parker hose series 187 (TC, ST), 302, 304, 387 (TC, ST), 422, 424, 426, 436, 471TC, 471ST, 472TC, 482TC, 482ST, 487 (TC, ST), 722 (TC, ST), 787 (TC, ST), 797 (TC, ST), and 881 hoses with a 5/8 inch (10 mm) hose size.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or fluid power specialist familiar with face seal fitting assembly procedures. Depressurize and isolate the hydraulic circuit completely before removing or installing any fittings. Use appropriate hose assembly tooling to ensure proper skive and insertion depth before crimping or field attachment. Do not use thread sealant on Seal-Lok face seal connections, as the o-ring provides the sealing function.
