The PARKER 1J977-20-20 is a short drop female Seal-Lok swivel 90-degree elbow fitting designed for high-pressure hydraulic hose assemblies. Built from steel, this Series 77 fitting accepts a 1-1/4 inch hose and threads onto a 1-11/16-12 male port using the Seal-Lok face-seal design, which eliminates the leak paths common with tapered thread connections. Rated to 4,000 psi working pressure, it is suited for demanding mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits. The 90-degree elbow orientation reduces plumbing stress in tight routing situations. Hydraulic technicians and fluid power specialists install this fitting during hose assembly fabrication or field repair work.
This fitting is applied wherever a 1-1/4 inch hydraulic hose must transition to a fixed Seal-Lok port at a 90-degree angle with a short drop offset. Typical applications include mobile equipment such as excavators, loaders, and agricultural machinery, as well as industrial hydraulic power units. The short drop geometry is used when clearance between the hose end and an adjacent structure is limited. The Seal-Lok face-seal interface is compatible with SAE J1453 O-ring face seal ports commonly found on pumps, valves, and cylinders.
Designed for use with 1-1/4 inch hydraulic hose in Series 77 Seal-Lok configurations. Compatible with SAE J1453 O-ring face seal ports threaded at 1-11/16-12. Confirm hose end series and port thread specification before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or fluid power specialist. Depressurize and lock out the hydraulic system completely before disconnecting or installing any fittings. Inspect the O-ring seal and port face for nicks, burrs, or contamination prior to assembly, and replace the O-ring if damaged. Torque to the fitting manufacturer's specified value for the thread size and body material — do not rely on feel alone, as both under- and over-torquing can cause leaks or fitting failure.
