The PARKER 1J743-20-20 is a female swivel 45-degree elbow hydraulic hose fitting machined from steel and designed for use with a wide range of Parker hydraulic hoses. It connects at a 1-1/4 inch threaded port using a Seal-Lok interface, which provides a face-seal connection to minimize leak paths under high-pressure conditions. The hose inside diameter is 1.25 inches, corresponding to a hose size designation of 20. This fitting is installed by hydraulic system technicians and fluid power mechanics in mobile equipment, industrial machinery, and plumbing circuits where a 45-degree directional change is required at the hose-to-port junction.
This fitting is suited for applications in construction equipment, agricultural machinery, industrial hydraulic circuits, and other systems requiring a compact angled hose termination. It is compatible with Parker Series 43 fittings and is appropriate for installations where Seal-Lok face-seal threading is specified. The 45-degree elbow geometry helps route hoses in tight spaces and reduces strain at connection points. Installers working on mobile hydraulic systems will find this fitting particularly useful where straight adapters create clearance issues.
Designed for use with Parker 187 (TC, ST), 302, 304, 387 (TC, ST), 422, 424, 426, 436, 471TC, 471ST, 472TC, 482TC, 482ST, 487 (TC, ST), 722 (TC, ST), 787 (TC, ST), 797 (TC, ST), and 881 hoses. Belongs to Parker Series 43 fittings.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or fluid power mechanic. Depressurize and isolate the hydraulic circuit completely before removing or installing any fittings, and verify the system has bled down to zero pressure. Seal-Lok face-seal fittings require proper seating of the O-ring against the flat face of the port; inspect the O-ring for damage before assembly and do not reuse damaged seals. Torque specifications and assembly procedures should follow Parker published guidelines for the Series 43 fitting and applicable system design standards.
