The PARKER 19R30 is a string-wound cartridge filter designed for plumbing and water filtration applications. Wound from FDA-grade cotton, it delivers 10-micron particle filtration across a 30-inch length with a 2.5-inch outside diameter. The tinned steel core provides structural integrity under pressure and temperature. This filter targets sediment, dirt, rust, and scale particles in potable and process water lines. It is installed by licensed plumbers and water treatment technicians in residential, commercial, and light industrial systems where consistent particulate removal is required at high flow rates.
The 19R30 is suited for high-capacity filtration housings that accept standard 30-inch cartridges. Its cotton string-wound construction makes it appropriate for potable water systems where FDA-compliant materials are required. Common applications include whole-building sediment prefiltration, well water systems, boiler feed pretreatment, and process water lines that require reliable solids removal upstream of sensitive equipment such as softeners, RO membranes, or heat exchangers. The 250 degrees F maximum working temperature also qualifies it for hot water and steam-condensate service.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for standard 30-inch string-wound cartridge filter housings used in residential and commercial plumbing filtration systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber following applicable IPC and local plumbing code requirements. Shut off the supply water and depressurize the filter housing completely before replacing the cartridge. Inspect the housing o-ring or sump seal and replace if worn before reinstalling. Do not exceed the rated working temperature or pressure specified for the filter housing in use.
