The PARKER 179PTC-4-2 is a push-to-connect swivel 45-degree male elbow tube fitting designed for air brake and pneumatic plumbing systems. Constructed from brass, it connects 1/4-inch OD tubing to a 1/8-inch male NPT port with a swivel elbow geometry that simplifies routing in tight spaces. Rated to 250 psi maximum working pressure, it handles a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The push-to-connect design allows fast, tool-free tube insertion, while the swivel feature permits the fitting body to rotate before final positioning. An internal nitrile O-ring provides a reliable seal under pressure and temperature cycling. Apply thread sealant compatible with NPT connections to the male NPT threads per standard practice; verify the swivel body is oriented correctly before torquing the NPT end into the port.
