The PARKER 172PLP-6M-4G is a push-to-connect swivel male branch tee fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid tubing systems. It connects two tube runs while providing a male branch port, allowing a single fitting to serve a three-way junction without additional adapters. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a silicone-free grease lubricant, it is rated to 300 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The yellow release button allows fast, tool-free tube insertion and removal. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and instrumentation mechanics install this fitting in compressed air, refrigeration, and process fluid lines.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic systems, compressed air distribution, and instrumentation plumbing where a compact branch tee with a male thread port is required. The 6mm tube outside diameter ports accept standard 6mm OD push-to-connect tubing. The 1/4 inch BSPP male thread branch connects to ported manifolds, valves, and equipment with corresponding female BSPP ports. The swivel feature on the male branch simplifies alignment during installation in tight or pre-plumbed assemblies.

Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or instrumentation mechanics. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing any existing fitting or inserting tubing. Ensure tube ends are cut cleanly and squarely with a tube cutter and that the tube OD is free of burrs before inserting into the push-to-connect port. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the BSPP male threads per the system manufacturer and applicable plumbing codes before making up the threaded connection.
