The PARKER 172PLP-10M-4G is a push-to-connect swivel male branch tee fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid distribution lines. It provides a three-way connection with two push-to-connect tube ports and one swivel male threaded port, allowing branch routing without the need for additional fittings or thread sealant on the tube connections. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, the fitting handles pressures up to 300 psi and operates across a temperature range of 0 to 200 degrees F. The yellow release button enables fast, tool-free tube insertion and removal. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial piping professionals install this fitting in compressed air, pneumatic control, and fluid distribution systems.
This fitting is suited for applications where a branch connection must be added to an existing tube run with minimal installation time. The swivel male port uses BSPP thread, making it compatible with metric-threaded fittings common in European-standard pneumatic systems and certain HVAC and refrigeration control circuits. The push-to-connect ends accept 10mm outside diameter tubing. It is appropriate for both residential and light commercial system work where silicone-free grease compatibility is required and UL94 V-0 flame resistance is specified.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect branch tee replacement for pneumatic and fluid systems using 10mm OD tubing and BSPP male threaded connections.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician after depressurizing and locking out the system. Insert tubing fully into the push-to-connect ports until it seats against the internal stop for a secure, leak-free connection. To release tubing, depress the yellow release button while pulling the tube straight out. Verify BSPP thread engagement on the male swivel port before pressurizing the system, and confirm working pressure does not exceed the 300 psi rating.
