The PARKER 171PLP-6M-6G is a push-to-connect swivel male run tee fitting used in pneumatic and fluid tubing systems. It accepts 6mm outside diameter tubing on both tube ports and features a BSPP male thread on the branch connection. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, it is rated to 300 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The yellow release button allows quick tube removal without additional tooling. Silicone-free grease is used internally, making it compatible with applications where silicone contamination is a concern. Licensed tradespeople working on compressed air, pneumatic control, or fluid distribution lines install this fitting.
This fitting is suited for light industrial, commercial HVAC controls, and pneumatic instrumentation applications where a run tee configuration is needed in a compact tube-to-tube-to-male arrangement. The swivel male thread simplifies alignment during installation into ported manifolds, solenoid valve bodies, or ported block fittings. The 6mm tube OD size is common in metric pneumatic control circuits. The fitting meets the UL94 V-0 flame resistance standard, making it appropriate for panels and enclosures with flame-rating requirements.
Designed for use with 6mm outside diameter push-to-connect tubing systems using BSPP male thread connections. Verify thread form and tube OD before installation, as BSPP is not interchangeable with NPT or BSPT thread forms.
Installation is typically performed by licensed pipefitters, pneumatic technicians, or HVAC controls technicians. Depressurize and lock out the system before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure the tube is cut squarely and deburred before insertion into the push-to-connect ports to achieve a proper seal. Do not exceed the rated working pressure or temperature limits of 300 psi and 200 degrees F.
