The PARKER 171PLP-4M-2G is a push-to-connect swivel male run tee fitting designed for tube-to-tube-to-male inline connections in pneumatic and fluid control systems. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a silicone-free grease lubrication and a UL94 V-0 flame-resistant body, this fitting handles working pressures up to 300 psi and operating temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The 4mm tube outside diameter connection accepts push-in tubing on both run ports while the male BSPP swivel port allows directional alignment during installation. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians install this fitting in compressed air, process gas, and fluid distribution lines.
This fitting is suited for light industrial, HVAC controls, and instrumentation applications where a compact inline tee is needed to branch or route 4mm OD tubing to a male-threaded port. The swivel feature on the male end simplifies routing in tight spaces without twisting the downstream line. Its nickel-plated brass construction resists corrosion in moist or condensation-prone environments typical of mechanical rooms and equipment panels.
Designed for use with 4mm outside diameter push-to-connect tubing on the run ports and a BSPP male thread on the branch port. Verify thread standard and tube OD requirements before installation, as BSPP differs dimensionally from NPT and other thread forms.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician in accordance with applicable local mechanical codes. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure tubing is cut square and fully seated past the collet to achieve a leak-free push-to-connect engagement. Confirm thread compatibility — BSPP is a parallel thread standard and typically requires an O-ring face seal or thread sealant appropriate for the service medium; do not substitute BSPP fittings where NPT or other tapered threads are specified.
