The PARKER 171PLP-12M-6G is a push-to-connect swivel male run tee fitting designed for tube-to-tube-to-male pneumatic or fluid plumbing connections. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a silicone-free grease lubricated mechanism, it accepts 12mm outside diameter tubing on both inline ports and terminates with a BSPP male thread on the branch port. The fitting is rated to 300 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The push-to-connect mechanism allows tool-free tube insertion, while the swivel male end simplifies alignment during installation. The yellow release button enables quick, repeatable disconnection without additional tooling. This fitting meets the UL94 V-0 flame resistance standard.
This fitting is suited for use in pneumatic control systems, instrumentation lines, and light industrial fluid circuits where a branch tee with a swivel male thread outlet is required. The BSPP thread type makes it appropriate for equipment built to metric and British plumbing standards. It is commonly installed by industrial maintenance technicians, HVAC controls specialists, and pneumatic systems integrators working with metric tubing runs. Its compact overall length of 2.54 inches keeps plumbing layouts tight in panel or cabinet installations.
Designed for use with 12mm outside diameter push-to-connect tubing on inline ports and BSPP male thread connections on the branch port. Suitable for pneumatic and low-pressure fluid systems requiring metric tube fittings with British standard parallel pipe thread terminations.
Installation is performed by industrial or HVAC controls technicians following applicable pneumatic system codes. Depressurize and isolate the circuit completely before disconnecting or connecting any fittings. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and is free of burrs before inserting into the push-to-connect ports to maintain a proper seal. Verify BSPP thread engagement is hand-tight before applying wrench torque, and do not over-torque the swivel male end.
