The PARKER 171CA-3-2 is a brass compression tube male run tee designed for use in instrumentation, fluid control, and pneumatic or hydraulic tubing systems. It provides a three-port inline connection with compression fittings on both run ends and a male NPTF threaded branch port. Rated to 1900 psi maximum working pressure, the fitting handles temperatures from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. Constructed from brass, it resists corrosion and is well suited for use with copper or compatible soft tubing. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and instrumentation technicians install this fitting in applications requiring a secure, leak-resistant tube-to-pipe transition.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration lines, compressed air distribution, hydraulic circuits, and instrumentation tubing runs where a branch connection to a male NPT port is needed inline. The compression-by-MNPT-by-compression configuration allows the technician to tap off a main tubing run to a threaded component such as a valve, gauge, or manifold without interrupting the primary flow path. NPTF threads are self-sealing by design, but verify thread engagement and pressure-test the assembly after installation before returning the system to service.
