The PARKER 171C-4-4 is a brass compression tube male run tee designed for use in fluid and pneumatic line assemblies where a branch connection must be made in the run of a tube without interrupting flow direction. The fitting uses a compression-style end connection on both run ports and a male NPT (MNPT) branch port, allowing inline tube routing with a threaded branch takeoff. Rated to 300 psi maximum working pressure and built to SAE J-512 standards, this tee handles operating temperatures from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. It is suited for hydraulic, refrigeration, and instrumentation tubing work where a reliable, leak-resistant mechanical connection is required.

Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with compression fittings and applicable codes such as the IPC or system-specific refrigeration standards. Shut off and depressurize the line completely before disassembly or fitting installation. Compression fittings require proper tube squareness and deburring at the cut end to achieve a leak-free bite-ring seat — do not overtighten, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal. Apply thread sealant appropriate for the service fluid to the NPTF male threads before assembly.
