The PARKER 1717528 is a female pipe rigid fitting designed for hydraulic hose assemblies operating at up to 4,000 psi. Built from steel with a straight body profile and NPTF threaded connection, this fitting provides a leak-resistant seal in high-pressure hydraulic circuits. The 3/8-inch hose size and 3/8-inch thread size make it a direct-connect solution for standard hydraulic lines. At 1.63 inches in overall length and 0.129 pounds, it installs cleanly in tight spaces. The NPTF thread form creates a dry-seal mechanical connection without requiring additional thread sealant in most applications. This fitting is part of the Parker 6600 Series and conforms to ISO 7241-1 Series A standards.
This fitting is suited for mobile hydraulic applications including snow plow hydraulic systems, truck and trailer hydraulic connections, and other field-service hydraulic assemblies. The straight configuration simplifies inline hose routing where a fixed, rigid termination point is required. Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or mechanic familiar with high-pressure fluid system assembly. Depressurize and isolate the hydraulic circuit completely before removing or installing any fitting. NPTF threads form a dry seal through thread interference — inspect threads for damage before installation and apply thread sealant only if required by the system OEM specification. Torque to the fitting manufacturer's published specification for the connection size and material.
