The PARKER 170C-3-2 is a brass compression tube female elbow fitting designed to connect a compression tube end to a female NPT port in a 90-degree configuration. It is rated to 400 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of fluid and pneumatic system applications. Manufactured in brass to SAE J-512 standards, this fitting delivers reliable sealing performance in hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation lines. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid power technicians install this type of fitting during system assembly or repair work.
This fitting is used in residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant and control-line work, and industrial fluid systems where a compression tube must terminate at a female NPT-threaded port at a right angle. The 1/8-27 NPTF thread size fits standard 1/8 inch NPT female ports. The compression end accepts standard tubing per SAE J-512 specification. It is well suited for tight-space installations where a straight fitting will not route tubing efficiently.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service fitting for compression tube to female NPT connections in plumbing, HVAC, and fluid power systems requiring a 1/8-27 NPTF thread and SAE J-512 compression tube end.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or fluid power technician. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Apply thread sealant appropriate for the service fluid to the NPTF threads and tighten to a snug fit without overtightening brass threads. Verify the compression sleeve is seated correctly on the tubing before fully tightening the compression nut.
