The PARKER 16L24BE is an intermediate micro mist compressed air lubricator designed to introduce oil mist into a pneumatic system for lubrication of downstream components such as actuators, valves, and air motors. Built around a zinc body with a metal bowl and manual drain, this Series 16L unit handles up to 60 CFM at a 3/8 inch NPT port. The modular design allows inline integration with compatible filter and regulator units, simplifying FRL assembly. Nitrile seals provide compatibility with standard compressor oils. A built-in sight glass allows visual confirmation that oil is feeding correctly during operation. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and industrial mechanical technicians install these units in compressed air distribution systems.
This lubricator is suited for light to medium-duty industrial and commercial pneumatic systems where downstream air tools, cylinders, or control valves require continuous lubrication. The 3/8 inch NPT end connections accommodate standard compressed air piping and quick-assembly FRL modular configurations. The manual drain requires periodic servicing to remove condensate and spent oil from the 2.6 oz bowl. Minimum working temperature is 32 degrees F, making this unit appropriate for indoor or conditioned-space installations. The micro mist delivery method ensures fine oil distribution without flooding downstream components.
Designed as an OEM-style inline lubricator for compressed air systems using 3/8 inch NPT plumbing. Compatible with modular Series 16L FRL component assemblies per the supplier specifications provided.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic systems technician or pipefitter. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before installing or servicing this unit. Mount the lubricator vertically with the bowl oriented downward to ensure proper oil feed and drainage. Fill the bowl only with oils recommended for pneumatic lubricators and do not exceed the bowl capacity; inspect the manual drain and sight glass at each scheduled maintenance interval.
